PersonalityZeno is quite anti-social and usually keeps to himself quietly. Despite his timid nature, Zeno is easily angered and will jump to attack if he is provoked in anyway. If on a mission, Vader bcomes serious in every way and trades his anti-social ways for a more cooperative attitude. Zeno is a chain smoker.
History- Spoiler:
Zeno was born into a middle class family in the streets of Brooklyn. Though his years here were very short lived since at the age of five they moved to a quiet town in Ohio. Zeno grew up very lonely here, having no friends and relying more on his family in terms of hanging out. Zeno had a close relationship with his mother and father. One night when he was about 9, Zeno’s home was broken into by a mutant, but was thwarted by his father and his gun, it was never known to him what the mutant wanted. Shortly after his parents expressed a deep hatred for mutants and the mutual feeling grew into Zeno.
Around the time of puberty Zeno noticed that he began to breath smoke, with no apparent damage to himself. Zeno was scared at this fact and didn’t know what caused it, but he tried hard to ignore. He usually kept his mouth shut around his parents and in school as not to accidentally release smoke around others. When Zeo turned 14 the amount of smoke he released increased and he noticed himself feeling lighter at times, these times including smoke. Zeno came to the realization that these were in fact powers, making it obvious to him that he was a mutant. Scared of being what his parents hated so he learned to control his breathing so he didn’t breathe smoke and he regulated his shapeshifting.
Though Zeno was able to keep his act up for some time, his parents soon found out about his powers and his life was threatened by his own father. Distraught at the scenario, Zeno no longer bore to look at himself or to let others see him. With nowhere else to go he made his way to Xavier Institute for Higher Learning where he learned to control his powers more and began to fight for the X-men’s cause.
